Julián Álvarez knows exactly where he’d go if he leaves Manchester City.
After Haaland benched him and took his starting spot, the Argentine started thinking about his future and reconsidering which team he’d like to play for if he leaves the British club.
Álvarez has been linked to teams like Chelsea, Atlético Madrid, and Liverpool. However, “The Athletic” reported on Tuesday that the player’s main priority would be to play for Real Madrid, although he knows it won’t happen anytime soon due to the Spanish club’s abundance of forwards.
For now, it doesn’t seem like Álvarez will leave Manchester City, as his contract runs until 2028, and he has stated that he is currently happy in England. “I’m calm, I feel good, and I’m happy at Manchester City. We’ll see what happens,” the Argentine said in his latest comments.
