This is The Best-Selling Jersey in The MLS!
The pink number 10 shirt of Lionel Messi, forward for Inter Miami, is the top-selling jersey of the year in MLS, in a chart where the podium is entirely Latin, with Uruguayan Luis Suárez in second place and Argentine Lucho Acosta in third.
According to sales data announced by the MLS, Colombian Juan Camilo "Cucho" Hernández of Columbus Crew, and Spanish Riqui Puig of Los Angeles Galaxy, respectively occupy the fourth and fifth positions.
Inter Miami, which revolutionized the MLS a year ago with the additions of Messi and the Spaniards Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, to whom Suárez was added in January, dominates the top 25 positions with five players.
In addition to the four big names from the pink club, local talent Benjamin Cremaschi is added.
Alba occupies 18th position and Busquets 28th, according to sales numbers on the MLSstore.com platform.
The Seattle Sounders are the second most represented franchise with four jerseys among the top 25 positions (Pedro De La Vega, Jordan Morris, Joao Paulo, and Cristian Roldán).
The rankings are based on local sales of Adidas MLS jerseys on MLSstore.com from January 1 to April 30, 2024.}
