Messi's Reaction Caught on Video by LeBron James
Lionel Messi is one of the most recognized celebrities in the United States, as he is one of the best soccer players in history, and many celebrities know it. They've attended many of his matches as an Inter Miami player.
One standout celebrity who went to see Messi play was LeBron James, one of the greatest NBA players in history. At Messi's debut for Inter Miami in a Leagues Cup match against Cruz Azul, LeBron took a video and recorded the Argentine's brilliant performance.
A few days ago, in an interview with ESPN, Messi was asked how he felt about a star like LeBron James recording him. Messi responded humbly:
"It's truly amazing everything that's happened to me since I arrived here (Miami). Everything I've experienced with such personalities or just going anywhere in the United States and seeing packed stadiums wanting to watch our team. I'm grateful for how I've been treated since I arrived in the United States, especially in Miami. It's a great city filled with Latinos and Argentinians. I've had some wonderful experiences that I live and enjoy in a different way," Messi said.
