Messi and Suárez have taken their dynamic duo off the football pitch and onto the padel courts, where the Argentine-Uruguayan pair emerged victorious, winning an all-expenses-paid vacation.

It all started back in February 2024 when Suárez bet with journalist Iñaki Abadie on having a padel match with a partner of his choice in the US. The loser would pay for the winner’s family vacation.

The match had all kinds of entertainment, from a “fake injury” by Suárez to showcasing the competitive side of the world champion, who got frustrated when things didn’t go his way.

Despite the challenges, the Inter Miami and former FC Barcelona duo won the match, securing a vacation for their families. They showed great joy, proving they’re fierce competitors in every sport and a legendary duo making history beyond football.
