Nice Salvages a Dramatic Draw against Lille, Halting their Ligue 1 Climb
Nice secured a last-minute equalizer against Lille, ending the match 2-2 and preventing the visitors from climbing higher in the Ligue 1 standings. With this result, Lille remains in fourth place with 19 points, while Nice holds on to fifth with 17 points.

Nice responded in the second half with a great strike from Sofiane Diop in the 56th minute to level the score. Lille quickly regained the lead thanks to a goal by Mitchel Bakker in the 66th minute.
Just when it seemed Lille would take all three points, a last-minute goal by Tom Louchet gave Nice a dramatic equalizer, salvaging a draw at home and halting Lille's climb up the table.
With this draw, Lille misses the chance to move up in the standings, staying in fourth place, 10 points behind leaders PSG and 4 points behind Monaco. Meanwhile, Nice earns a crucial point to remain in fifth place, solidifying their position in the upper part of the table.
