Looking ahead to the Ligue 1 matchday 20 where PSG will face Strasbourg, the Parisians' coach spoke to the media about various topics, including the transfer window closure, and more.
Regarding the winter transfer window closure after adding Lucas Beraldo and Gabriel Moscardo to the squad, the coach was asked about a possible signing before the deadline, to which he replied, 'No, the transfer period ends soon. I don't think so; the club continues to work to find opportunities, but honestly, I don't think so.'
With the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 just around the corner, Luis Enrique was questioned about facing a challenge like Real Sociedad. 'The important match is against Strasbourg, a well-prepared team having a very good season. The path is to win games and prepare,' stated the coach of the capital's team.
Speaking about this match, Luis Enrique also commented on the evolution of Strasbourg: 'It's a team that creates, starts from the bottom but also defends well. We have to be prepared,' said the Spanish coach.
PSG will aim to maintain their sole leadership in Ligue 1, playing away in matchday 20 against Strasbourg tomorrow, Friday, February 2nd
