American Weekend Sparks Action in Ligue 1
The 16th week of Ligue 1 concluded, where several American footballers stood out with their respective teams, scoring goals to elevate the reputation of their countries. Among the highlights is the young American prospect, Emmanuel Sabbi, a lad who is undoubtedly unleashing all his potential in Ligue 1 to secure a spot in the starting eleven for Le Havre and the United States national team led by Greg Berhalter.

In the first match of the weekend between Monaco and Lyon, Brazilian player Jeffinho scored his first goal of the season in the dying minutes of the match (85’) to give the visitors a 1-0 victory at the Louis II stadium, the home of the Rouge et Blanc.

On Saturday's matchday, the performance of the Italian-American Emmanuel Sabbi stood out, scoring two goals (5’-35’) to lead Le Havre to a 3-1 home victory against Niza FC, coached by Francesco Farioli. Sunday in Ligue 1:
On Sunday, Panamanian Michael Murillo opened the scoring in the 26th minute to steer Olympique de Marseille to another victory in Ligue 1, defeating Clermont 2-1 at Stade Gabriel Montpied.
In the closing match, it seemed that Kylian Mbappe would secure another victory for PSG by scoring from the penalty spot (66’) and putting the score at 1-0 against LOSC. However, in the final minutes of the game (90+4’), another global prospect emerged, one of the Canadian wonders, Jonathan David, to equalize the score 1-1, thus spoiling Mbappe and PSG's celebration. Despite the defeat, they remain at the top of Ligue 1.
