What Games Will Mbappé Miss Due to Injury with Real Madrid?
French forward Kylian Mbappé will be out for at least three weeks due to a muscle injury in the biceps femoris of his left leg. The Real Madrid player sustained this issue during the LaLiga match against Alavés, where he requested to be substituted in the second half. Following medical tests conducted this Wednesday, the club confirmed his absence for several key matches.
Mbappé will miss his first Madrid derby against Atlético de Madrid at the Metropolitano Stadium, a crucial game for the team in their league battle. Additionally, he will not participate in the Champions League clash against Lille, where he would have had the opportunity to face his brother Ethan, as well as the LaLiga match against Villarreal.
Furthermore, his injury will prevent him from being part of the French national team for the upcoming Nations League fixtures in October. However, the coaching staff's goal is to have the forward fully recovered for the important El Clásico against Barcelona, scheduled for the end of October.
In the meantime, Mbappé has already started his recovery process under the supervision of the club’s physiotherapists at the Valdebebas training facility. The attacker’s absence will force coach Carlo Ancelotti to make adjustments to his tactical setup, but he will at least welcome the return of Eduardo Camavinga, who will rejoin the team after recovering from a knee injury.
Mbappé’s absence is a significant blow for Real Madrid, who are experiencing a series of injuries at the start of the season. However, it is expected that the forward will be in top form for one of the most important matches on the calendar: El Clásico against Barcelona.
