Valencia vs. Real Madrid, postponed!
In total, five matches from La Liga and the Segunda División in Spain have been suspended due to the devastating rains affecting the Valencian Community.
On Thursday, the Competitions Judge decided to postpone five matches from the Primera and Segunda Divisions that requested suspension due to the devastating DANA storm, which has particularly impacted the Valencian Community.
Among the postponed matches is the highly anticipated Valencia-Real Madrid, scheduled for Saturday, November 2, at Mestalla. Also postponed are the Villarreal CF-Rayo Vallecano from LaLiga EA Sports, as well as CD Castellón-RC Ferrol, CD Eldense-SD Huesca, and Levante UD-Málaga CF, all part of LaLiga Hypermotion.
In the ruling, clubs are urged to submit a proposal with new dates for rescheduling these matches by next Tuesday, November 5, at 14:00. In addition to the mentioned professional football matches, games in the women’s Primera Division, such as Valencia Féminas-RC Deportivo and Real Madrid CF-Levante UD, have also been suspended.
Furthermore, several matches in the Primera Federación, Primera Federación Iberdrola, Segunda Federación, women’s Segunda Federación, and Tercera Federación have also been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. This decision reflects the significant impact the storm has had on the football calendar and the need to ensure the safety of players and fans.
