Saudi Club Offers $100 Million for Raphinha
A club from Saudi Arabia is reportedly willing to offer Barça around 100 million dollars for Raphinha.
Raphinha had a pretty good season with Barcelona, which is why several teams from the Saudi Pro League have set their sights on the 27-year-old forward who still has a contract with Barça until June 2027. However, a tempting multi-million dollar offer could make the player consider changing teams.
Due to the Brazilian's great season, his market value has increased. The main reason for his rise in numbers is his hat-trick against PSG in the Champions League quarter-finals. According to Mundo Deportivo, the club interested in signing Raphinha is willing to pay around 100 million dollars for the player—a very tempting offer considering Barça paid 58 million plus add-ons for him in 2022.
On the other hand, Raphinha is very comfortable in Barcelona, as both he and his family are happy in Spain, making a move seem unlikely. Additionally, the player has stated that he would only leave Barcelona if an offer came from one of the big Premier League clubs.
Another important factor is the opinion of Barcelona's new head coach, Hansi Flick, who will have to decide if Raphinha fits into the team's plans or if they are open to listening to offers for him, considering his competition is the current star, Lamine Yamal.
