Real Madrid Squad Welcomes Kylian Mbappé
After the announcement of Kylian Mbappé's signing with Real Madrid, his future teammates welcomed him through their social media, with messages already hinting at the 16th UEFA Champions League title, just two days after winning their 15th.
"Welcome, Mbappé, let's go for the 16th..." wrote Éder Militao. Courtois welcomed him to his "new home" with a message in French.
Rodrygo Goes reacted to the official announcement with eleven heart-eyes emojis, followed by: "Welcome, superstar."
Meanwhile, Fede Valverde responded with a bomb emoji, and Vinícius Junior shared a clock emoji before and after the announcement. After the signing news broke, he posted a photo with Juni Calafat, one of the architects of Real Madrid's current squad.
Another attacking teammate, Brahim Díaz, also commented on the news: "Welcome to the best club in the world," he wrote.
His compatriot Eduardo Camavinga shared a photo with Mbappé during a match with the French national team.
Former Real Madrid players also reacted to the announcement, such as Iker Casillas.
"I don't know if we won the 'Champions League' on Saturday or today with Mbappé's signing," he wrote, later sharing a message focusing on the 16th title.
"Welcome to the best club in the world, Mbappé! It's never too late if the outcome is good. With you, the journey to the 16th begins..." Casillas posted.
Marcelo shared a similar sentiment: "16 is on its way... Oh, my Madrid," he commented on Real Madrid's Instagram post announcing Mbappé's signing.
Mbappé also shared a message on his social media after his move to the Spanish capital became official, in Spanish, French, and English, accompanied by four photos proudly showing the Real Madrid crest during a visit to the Valdebebas training center in 2012.
"A dream come true. Very happy and proud to be part of the club of my dreams, Real Madrid. It is impossible to explain how happy and excited I am right now. I can't wait to see you, Madridistas, and thank you for your incredible support. Hala Madrid!" Mbappé posted.
