Real Madrid announced the end of Toni Kroos' successful tenure after ten years, expressing gratitude for his professionalism and framing the German midfielder as "one of the great legends" of the club, winner of 22 titles before the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley, which will be his last match in white.
"Real Madrid C.F. announces that Toni Kroos has decided to end his career as a professional football player after Euro 2024," Real Madrid announced in a statement published minutes after the German midfielder's announcement on his social media.
