OFFICIAL: How Long Will Dani Olmo Be Out with Barcelona?
Barcelona has announced the medical report on the injury suffered by forward Dani Olmo against Girona, along with the time he will be sidelined. The news isn't good.
Barcelona forward Dani Olmo will be sidelined for four to five weeks due to a hamstring injury in his right thigh, the club's medical team confirmed on Monday.
Olmo underwent medical tests today after being substituted in the 61st minute of Sunday’s LaLiga match against Girona (4-1), which revealed a muscular injury.
The Terrassa-born player, who has scored three goals in as many games since joining Barcelona, had quickly become a key figure in Hansi Flick's starting lineup.
However, the German coach will welcome back forward Ansu Fati, who has yet to feature this season due to plantar fasciitis, ahead of Thursday’s Champions League opener against Monaco.
