James Rodríguez Happy to Start Again in La Liga
Colombian midfielder James Rodríguez, playing for Rayo Vallecano, expressed that his feelings during his first start were "good." He said he feels "happy" to be back in La Liga and believes his new team has "a lot of quality" to achieve their goal of staying up.
James played against Leganés in the Madrid derby, marking his first match back in La Liga. He was on the field for 63 minutes before being subbed off for Isi Palazón.
"I'm happy to be back in Spain and to play my first game as a starter. The feelings have been good. I was eager to start, and I hope I can help the team, which is what I want. We need to prepare well for everything that's coming," James told Movistar.
"I felt good. I'm taking it step by step here and getting used to the team with new teammates who have helped me a lot. We have to take it one game at a time; this team has a lot of quality, and we need to be solid in every match," he concluded.
