A recent example of this was seen by TV3 journalist Xavi Lemus during the pre-match press conference ahead of Barça’s game against Getafe. Flick had a coughing fit during the event, forcing him to pause multiple times. Lemus, present in the room, spontaneously offered him a candy to help soothe his throat. 

Now, three days later, during the pre-match press conference for Barça's clash with Osasuna, Flick surprised Lemus by returning the gesture and offering him multiple candies in return.

Lemus shared the thoughtful moment on his social media: “Hansi Flick is a true gentleman. Today, he returned the candy I gave him on Tuesday after his coughing fit, three times over. Class act.”

This act of kindness is just one of many that reflect Flick’s close and considerate nature, a trait he shares not only with the media but also with his players and technical staff. Just weeks ago, before the derby against Girona, Flick took his coaching staff out for lunch, showing his appreciation for those working behind the scenes.
