Drama in Spain: Only 10 Players to Start LaLiga!
Getafe only has 10 players with just over a month until LaLiga begins.
While Euro 2024 and the Copa América are happening in their respective continents, many teams are gearing up and preparing for the next season. However, the Madrid-based team Getafe is facing a curious situation where they have very few players registered for the upcoming season.
As of now, the Spanish team only has 11 players for the next season: one goalkeeper and ten outfield players. These players are David Soria, Djené, Iglesias, Angileri, Domingos Duarte, Aldrete, Aleñá, Luis Milla, Yellu, Arambarri, and Borja Mayoral, who are the only ones currently available to start the season.
So far, five players have left the club due to transfers or contract expirations: Darío Poveda, Sabit Abdulai, Enes Ünal, Nemanja Maksimovic, and Jaime Mata.
On the other hand, the only confirmed new arrival at the Madrid club is Chisantus Uche, who joins from Ceuta.
