Brahim Diaz Speaks Out After Injury
Brahim Díaz, who will be sidelined for nearly three months after suffering a tear in the adductor longus muscle of his right leg, admitted feeling "sad about the injury" which occurred early in the season. He also expressed gratitude for the support he’s received in the past few hours.
"I'm sad about the injury, but it's already one less day until I return. We have to face small obstacles that make us stronger. Until I recover, I'll be supporting and cheering on the team like any other fan in every match," Brahim posted on social media, along with a black-and-white photo celebrating with Real Madrid fans at Santiago Bernabéu.
He thanked Real Madrid supporters for the encouragement they've shown him since he was injured on Saturday at Reale Arena against Real Sociedad, with the severity of the injury confirmed on Sunday after an MRI scan.
"Thank you all for your expressions of support. It makes things much easier. I can't wait to see you all again and enjoy it together! See you soon. Hala Madrid," he concluded.
