(VIDEO) Real Madrid Opens Its Own Theme Park!
Emilio Butragueño and Roberto Carlos attended the inauguration in Dubai of the world's first football club-themed park, 'Real Madrid World', covering six hectares and offering 40 thrilling experiences for visitors.
"We are fully convinced that those who visit this theme park will immediately feel the excitement and passion that our crest and jersey convey," said Butragueño to the club's media. "Here, a very important and beloved part of our history comes to life, born from the emotions and dreams of Real Madrid fans. As our president says, Real Madrid belongs to the heart of the people," he added.
Butragueño, the director of institutional relations for Real Madrid, and Roberto Carlos, the club ambassador, also held a clinic with over a hundred children from the Real Madrid Foundation at a football field within the park.
The 'Real Madrid World' is six times the size of the Santiago Bernabéu, with attractions like the iconic 'Stars Flyer', the tallest flying chairs in the world at 140 meters, and the 'Hala Madrid Coaster', the first and only wooden roller coaster in the Middle East. Visitors can also enjoy immersive experiences, reliving unforgettable moments in the club's history and taking photos with life-sized figures of iconic players.
