(VIDEO) FC Barcelona’s Unbeaten Streak Ends with 4-1 Loss to Osasuna
Hansi Flick’s FC Barcelona saw their perfect winning streak and unbeaten record in La Liga come to an end with a 3-1 defeat against Osasuna. Ante Budimir scored a brace, and Bryan Zaragoza added another for the home side. Pau Víctor got the only goal for Barcelona.
The much-anticipated dominance from the visitors didn’t last long at El Sadar, which was buzzing with an impressive mosaic as fans geared up for a memorable Saturday night. Osasuna's intensity threw Barcelona off their game, and to make matters worse, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha started on the bench.
Croatian striker Ante Budimir put Osasuna ahead in the 18th minute with a header, and Bryan Zaragoza quickly followed up with another goal. After the break, Pau Víctor capitalized on a mistake from the home team to pull one back and give Barça some hope.
But Vicente Moreno’s men stayed focused, with Budimir scoring again from the penalty spot to restore the two-goal lead. Bretones sealed the deal with a long-range strike, although Lamine Yamal managed to grab a consolation goal in the 90th minute. Osasuna walked away with a comfortable victory.
