"Bad Luck Follows Us": Butragueño on Real Madrid's Injury Woes
Butragueño described Vinícius Junior, who scored three goals on Saturday, as “one of the most decisive players in the world” and was “crucial” in a “very complete” match against Osasuna.
Emilio Butragueño, Real Madrid's Director of Institutional Relations, stated that after suffering three injuries in the first half of their 4-0 win over Osasuna, "bad luck follows us" as it’s not “normal,” and expressed being “especially concerned” about Éder Militao, who may have sustained a serious knee injury.
“Injuries are another problem we are facing. Bad luck follows us; it’s not normal. Three players got injured within 30 minutes. It’s concerning because all three are very important players. We are especially worried about Militao, although we’ll have to wait and see what the doctors say in the coming hours,” he commented on Realmadrid TV.
“The match was very complete, both in defense and attack. Wins are built on a solid defense, and the team was aggressive, winning duels from the start, and we were very sharp offensively. Very satisfied with the team’s performance and all the players,” he analyzed.
