Ugarte is Happy to Bring so Much Joy To A Country "Of Few"
Manuel Ugarte, the fifth shooter in the penalty shootout that secured Uruguay's qualification at the expense of Brazil by 4-2 for the Copa América Semifinals, highlighted the effort of a team that is representing "very well" a country of just 3.4 million inhabitants.
"We are very few, but united, and here, together, we are representing them very well," declared the PSG midfielder at the end of the last Quarter-Final match played at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas before 55,770 spectators.
Ugarte, 23 years old, visibly emotional about his accuracy and composure, stated that reaching the semifinals "generates an indescribable emotion," but now they have to recover their strength and think about Colombia for the match on July 10 in Charlotte.
