Pulisic Calls for USMNT Intensity in Copa América
U.S. Men's National Team captain Christian Pulisic emphasized the need for his team to maintain high intensity throughout the Copa América, similar to their performance in the 1-1 draw against Brazil in a pre-tournament friendly.
"We need to realize that we have to bring that intensity all the time and not like we did in the game against Colombia," Pulisic stated in a video released by the USMNT.
In the friendly against Colombia, the Stars and Stripes suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat against the Tricolor.
For the 'Captain America', the upcoming match against Bolivia demands the same approach as the one against Brazil, because "the Verde will come out flying and ready to play."
The AC Milan forward stressed that anything less than 100% intensity on Sunday could lead to a loss against the South American team.
"We need to bring that intensity and physicality, play a really strong game, and stick to our plan. If we do that, we have a good chance," Pulisic concluded.
