Racing Defeat Corinthians and Advance to Sudamericana Final
Racing pulled off a thrilling comeback after initially trailing 0-1 against Corinthians. The home side managed to turn the game around with a 2-1 win, sealing a 4-3 aggregate score to advance to the Copa Sudamericana Final.
The first goal of the match was scored by Yuri Alberto in the 6th minute, following an excellent assist from Memphis Depay. However, later in the game, Juan Fernando Quintero responded with a brace for Racing: the first from the penalty spot in the 36th minute, followed by another just three minutes later in the 39th.
With this result, Racing advances to its first-ever Copa Sudamericana final and will face Cruzeiro on November 23 at the Estadio General Pablo Rojas in Asuncion, Paraguay.
