Racing absolutely demolished Huachipato at home with a 6-1 victory, making it 8-1 on aggregate, to secure their spot in the Quarterfinals of the CONMEBOL Copa Sudamericana.

After winning the first leg 2-0, the Argentine squad unleashed their full offensive power in the first half. Johan Carbonero scored twice, Adrián Martínez added another, and they capped off a slick team play with over 7 consecutive passes, finishing with a goal by Baltasar, heading into halftime up 4-0.

In the second half, Racing didn’t let up on the attack. Even though Huachipato managed to pull one back, Marco Di Cesare and Agustín Almendra each found the back of the net, sealing the 6-1 win for Racing.

With this result, Racing moves on to the Quarterfinals of the CONMEBOL Copa Sudamericana, where they’ll face the winner of the Belgrano vs. Paranaense matchup. Meanwhile, Huachipato bids farewell to the continental tournament.
