Corinthians and Racing drew 2-2 in a match full of stunning goals, marking one of the most exciting semifinals of the 2024 Copa Conmebol Sudamericana. The goals were scored by Yuri Alberto, with an extraordinary brace for Corinthians, and Maximiliano Salas and Gastón Martirena for Racing.  

The first half witnessed two brilliant goals: Maximiliano Salas opened the scoring in the 6th minute, capitalizing on Racing’s creativity and a defensive mishap from Corinthians. However, Yuri Alberto leveled the match with a superb goal in the 11th minute and later put Corinthians ahead 2-1 in the 33rd minute.  

In the second half, Gastón Martirena secured the equalizer in the 54th minute. Despite both teams’ persistent efforts, the tie remains open and will be decided in the second leg at Racing's home ground.
