After several weeks, the thrills of the Copa Libertadores are missed; however, the start date for the Round of 16 is already marked on calendars, and it will take place from Tuesday, August 18 to Thursday, August 22.
There are several notable matches in the Round of 16, with three of them being between teams from the same country. First, there's River Plate against Talleres, with the first leg taking place on Wednesday, August 14 at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes.
Then, there's Gremio facing the current cup champion, Fluminense, in what promises to be an exciting match, with the first leg at Arena Do Gremio on Tuesday, August 13. Lastly, we have the clash between Botafogo and Palmeiras, other Brazilian teams battling each other to advance to the next round, with the first leg at Estadio Olímpico Nilton Santos on Wednesday, August 14.
