Botafogo played to a 0-0 draw at home in the first leg of the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores Quarterfinals, leaving everything to be decided in the return leg at São Paulo’s home ground.

In the first half, Botafogo made the most of their home advantage, launching an aggressive attack with 11 total shots. One of the closest attempts came from Savarino, whose shot hit the post.

São Paulo, guided by Lucas Moura, managed to hold on for a valuable draw at the Nilton Santos Stadium, giving them a chance to close out the tie at home and aim for a semifinal spot.

The return leg will be held at the Morumbi, where both Brazilian teams will battle to secure a place in the Copa Libertadores semifinals, facing the winner between Flamengo and Peñarol.
