After clinching the Bundesliga title for the first time in their history, Bayer Leverkusen has been celebrating to the fullest, as it's not every day you win a title, let alone beat Bayern Munich to a championship. That's why what Spanish coach Xabi Alonso has achieved is significant, and talk has already turned to what could come next in his career.
Likewise, the CEO of the German team, Fernando Carro, stated to "El Larguero" that Xabi Alonso's career will have a stopover in Madrid. "I have no doubts. One day, Xabi Alonso will be Real Madrid manager. No doubts, cero doubts. The only doubt is when he will sign for Real Madrid, but it will happen, trust me, I'm sure", Carro declared.
There's a lot of talk about a possible team change for Xabi Alonso; however, he has already confirmed that he will stay with the German team for one more year and then consider taking on new challenges with a different team. Which team will it be?, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern?
