Bayern Munich's Astonishing Offer to Keep Musiala: Superstar Salary
Bayern Munich does not want its young star to leave for clubs like Real Madrid that are interested in him, so they are preparing an irresistible offer.
Bayern Munich is getting closer to securing the renewal of their young star Jamal Musiala, although keeping him will require a significant financial effort. At just 21 years old, Musiala's market value has surpassed $108 million, demanding a new contract that matches his importance both at Bayern and with the German national team.
Musiala's current contract runs until 2026, but sources close to the club reveal, according to German media outlet Sport1, that Bayern is preparing an offer that would place Musiala among the highest-paid players in the squad. When asked about the renewal, Musiala preferred not to go into details, stating: "I can't say much about the contract right now. I'm focused on finishing the first half of the season well and winning the upcoming games."
For Bayern, keeping Musiala has become a top priority. If the new deal goes through, the attacking midfielder could earn around $23.7 million gross annually, including bonuses, a figure matching Harry Kane, who is currently the highest-paid player in the team. Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl, has repeatedly emphasized the importance of Musiala for the club's future and mentioned that the offer would likely include a long-term contract, possibly until 2030, without a release clause.
Although the deal may not be finalized until 2025, Bayern remains confident in their strong relationship with Musiala, and there doesn't appear to be any major obstacles to extending his stay beyond 2026. Aware that Musiala is a key player for the team, the club is willing to make a significant effort to ensure he continues wearing the Bayern shirt for many years to come.
