Reuniting the MSN? Here's What Messi Says
Lionel Messi is gearing up for a new challenge with Argentina: winning the 2024 Copa América. The Argentine star aims to achieve this milestone, securing his second continental trophy with the Albiceleste and a third consecutive title following their World Cup victory in Qatar.
Recently, it was also the ninth anniversary of Messi's last Champions League win, which he celebrated alongside Luis Suárez and Neymar. Suárez remains his teammate at Inter Miami, while Neymar is under contract with Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.
In an interview with Infobae, Messi was asked about the possibility of the Brazilian star joining him in Miami to reform the triumphant "MSN" trio that shone at Barcelona. However, Messi believes this is unlikely to happen.
"No, I don't know. The truth is it's difficult now; he's in Saudi Arabia. He had a tough year, dealing with many injuries that kept him out of the Copa América. Life takes so many turns that anything can happen, but as of today, no," the Argentine star remarked.
Despite this, Messi confirmed that he remains in contact with Neymar, and all three members of the iconic trident still share a WhatsApp group that remains active to this day.
