It’s definitely not the best moment for Vinícius Jr., who was “stripped” of the Ballon d'Or and has now missed a crucial penalty for Brazil.
Raphinha Scores as Vinícius Jr. Misses Penalty for Brazil
The Real Madrid player’s national team faced Venezuela at the Monumental de Maturín stadium in a match for the eleventh round of the CONMEBOL qualifiers.
After Raphinha scored, Brazil found themselves tied, and it was “Vini” who drew a penalty but failed to convert.
Vinícius Jr. took the shot, but his attempt was saved initially, and his second effort also missed the mark.
A rough afternoon for the Real Madrid star, which understandably sparked reactions around his miss.
