Paulo Dybala could sign for Manchester United
Paulo Dybala, currently with Roma, could be on the move this summer in the transfer market, as rumors have started to circulate that the Argentine forward has attracted interest in England and could land at Manchester United, according to reports from Calciomercato.
Dybala joined Roma as a free agent in 2022, where he has so far scored 34 goals and provided 18 assists in 77 games. However, despite being a key player in Daniele De Rossi's scheme, "La Joya" has yet to reach a contractual agreement and has a clause that could allow him to move to the Premier League for the first time in his career. Currently, Dybala's contract reaches a figure of 6 million euros per year, including bonuses and incentives. However, the Argentine plans to negotiate that the new agreement does not fall below 7.5 million, as was originally stipulated, but this has not happened with one year remaining on his contract.
The Argentine forward's contract includes a provision that states that between July 1 and July 30, a clause is activated allowing Dybala to leave for a price of 12 million euros to any foreign club interested in his services.
Five years ago, Manchester United attempted to acquire Dybala when the Argentine was still playing for Juventus. However, the player rejected the move, which included Romelu Lukaku joining the Vecchia Signora.
