According to the mentioned source, the Argentine coach asked Benzema to leave the group training and practice individually because his pace didn't match that of his teammates, something that didn't sit well with the Frenchman.

Karim refused to leave, arguing that he had fulfilled the individual training sessions imposed by the club during the period he was away from group dynamics. The forward's intention was to train with the substitutes from the previous day's match.

However, Gallardo refused, sparking the anger of Benzema, who eventually left the field upset. The next day, Karim was seen training in the gym with the injured players.

The French forward was not included in the squad for the match that Al-Ittihad plays this Wednesday against Al Taee.
