Manchester City Secure Fourth Consecutive Premier League Title
Manchester City clinched their fourth consecutive Premier League title this Sunday, marking a historic achievement in English football.
Pep Guardiola's side secured the championship with a 3-1 victory against West Ham United, bringing the total Premier League titles for the 'Sky Blues' to ten. They first won in 1937 and 1968, and the remaining eight have been won since the financial influx from the United Arab Emirates in 2008.
This tenth title breaks the tie with Everton and places City behind only Arsenal (13), Liverpool (19), and Manchester United (20) in the all-time list.
For Guardiola, this triumph marks his 12th league title overall and his sixth Premier League title with Manchester City. He has now surpassed Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger, who each have three Premier League titles, and is second only to Alex Ferguson, who holds thirteen titles.
With four consecutive Premier League titles, Guardiola has established an unprecedented dynasty in English football. Previously, only Huddersfield Town (1923-1926), Arsenal (1932-1935), Liverpool (1981-1984), and Manchester United (1998-2001 and 2006-2009) had managed to win three consecutive league titles.
