Lamine Yamal’s Father Shares First Message After Stabbing
Lamine Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui, expressed his gratitude on Instagram this Thursday, thanking everyone for their support and assuring that he is feeling "better" after being stabbed on Wednesday, which led to his hospitalization in Badalona.
"Thank you all for your support, I'm feeling better now. A big hug to everyone," Yamal's father posted in an Instagram story. The message ended with two emojis—a flexed bicep and a heart—while a snippet from rapper Morad's song played in the background: "Now they come at me, and want to stain my name (no). And they don't know where to find me (no), and they don't know where to hit me (no). I've seen the death of people from the neighborhood that nobody remembers (no)."
More details have emerged this Thursday, revealing that the Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a fourth person in connection with the stabbing of Mounir Nasraoui, which occurred early Wednesday night in Mataró (Barcelona). Like the other three individuals arrested on Wednesday night, the fourth suspect is currently being held at the Mossos d'Esquadra police station in Mataró, awaiting a court appearance.
Lamine Yamal's father remains hospitalized at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Badalona, known as Can Ruti, with various injuries, though his life is not in danger. According to sources from the Mossos, the incident took place around 9:00 PM in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataró (Barcelona), where the victim lives. By 11:00 PM, three people were arrested for their alleged involvement in the stabbing of Nasraoui, with a fourth suspect arrested today.
The Can Ruti hospital has yet to release any medical report on the condition of Mounir Nasraoui, who reportedly suffered two stab wounds to the abdomen.
