Real Madrid Legends, featuring stars like Roberto Carlos, Iker Casillas, and even Luis Figo (who also played for Barcelona at one point), will go up against Barcelona Legends, including Andrés Iniesta—freshly retired from professional soccer—and Xavi Hernández, who coached the club until last season. This legendary match will happen in Japan on December 15th.

The game will be a grand tribute to Andrés Iniesta’s career. He’ll be putting on the Barça jersey again for the first time in six and a half years! After spending five years in Japan with Vissel Kobe, he’s chosen the country as the place for his farewell celebrations.

The match is set for Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo at 2 p.m. (6 a.m. in Spain). This will be the first time these two clubs clash in Japan, right after another Legends game happening in Doha, Qatar, on November 28. Besides Iniesta and Xavi, fans can look forward to seeing other Barça icons like Rivaldo, Javier Mascherano, Bojan, Rafa Márquez, Giuly, Adriano, and Javier Saviola.

On the Real Madrid side, along with Roberto Carlos, Iker Casillas, and Luis Figo, the lineup will include Julio Baptista, Steve McManaman, Savio Bortolini, and Iván Campo—with a few surprise players joining in!
