Falcao Returning to Colombian Soccer
Radamel Falcao returns to Colombian soccer and will be a new Millonarios player.
After several days of meetings between the majority shareholder of the Colombian team, Gustavo Serpa, and Radamel Falcao, the "Tiger" has accepted the offer and will become a new player for Millonarios for the upcoming Colombian soccer season.
The meeting took place in Miami, and the 38-year-old footballer accepted the offer and the new challenge ahead in his career. This also fulfills a childhood dream of playing for Millonarios and wearing the blue jersey. At the moment, only the official announcement from the Colombian team is pending.
While Falcao was at his peak with Atlético Madrid, he confessed that he had always wanted to play in Colombia, specifically for Millonarios, as he is a fan of the club. “When I left Colombia, I said I wanted to come back to Millonarios, the team I support, to retire. I never got to play in Colombia,” said the striker.
Journalist Cesar Augusto Londoño confirmed that Colombia's all-time top scorer will be joining Millonarios, with only the official announcement remaining.
