Cristiano Ronaldo's Records in the Euros
Cristiano Ronaldo's achievements with Portugal in the Euro Cup are unbelievable. The superstar has an extensive list of records in the competition that he can proudly claim to have conquered.
In terms of goals, CR7 is the all-time top scorer in the Euro. Since debuting in 2004, he has consistently found the net, reaching a total of 14 goals, five more than his closest competitor, Michel Platini, who scored nine for France. Ronaldo matched Platini's record in 2016 and then surpassed it.
Additionally, Cristiano is the only player to have competed in five Euro Cups, having participated since 2004, and in 2024, 20 years later, he will play in his sixth edition, which is truly remarkable.
Since his Euro debut, he has played in every match except one, making 25 appearances for Portugal, with the potential to increase this number in 2024.
He is also the only player to have scored three or more goals in multiple Euro Cup editions. He scored two in 2004, one in 2008, three in 2012 and 2016, and five in 2020.
Looking ahead to the 2024 edition in Germany, several records could still be his, something the whole world will be watching. Reaching the Euro at 39 years old and at his level is no easy feat.
