"I Have More Than Enough Money, But If a Great Offer Comes..."
Kevin De Bruyne, one of Manchester City's and Belgium's star players, hinted in a recent interview that he wouldn't leave his current club unless an irresistible offer came along.
In an interview with the newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, the midfielder stated that despite having a contract with the “Cityzens” until 2025, he had a conversation with Michael Emenalo, the Sporting Director of the Saudi Pro League.
"I've read many headlines about a possible transfer," De Bruyne told the Flemish outlet. "I will stay at City, I haven't spoken to anyone. I saw Emenalo at the Club World Cup. I know him, so it makes sense that we talked, but it was never about transfers," clarified De Bruyne regarding their conversation.
However, considering his family, the 33-year-old Belgian did not deny that he might consider a good offer, acknowledging his age and familial responsibilities: "I have more than enough money, but if a great offer comes... I would have to consider my family, my grandchildren, my great-grandchildren, and my friends."
