With a perfect nine points from three matches, "The Pharaohs" lead Group C, six points ahead of Mauritania, Cape Verde, and Botswana, who are all tied on points.

They now hold a six-point advantage over Mauritania, Cape Verde, and Botswana, who share the same number of points.
