AFCON 2023: Mohamed Salah Vows to Return for Egypt
Liverpool's star, Mohamed Salah, and key player for the Egyptian national team, pledged on his social media accounts to do everything possible to return to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with his national squad.
Salah stated that he began his treatment yesterday and promised to "be ready very soon and return to the National Team as initially planned."
Following an injury during the group stage match against Ghana, Salah had to return to Liverpool. The 31-year-old suffered a hamstring injury during the game.
Salah is expected to be sidelined for an additional two weeks, according to the results of the medical examinations. It's worth noting that the AFCON 2023 final is scheduled for February 11.
