McGregor Apologizes to UFC Fans
The Irishman apologized after the last-minute cancellation of the press conference ahead of his comeback fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303.
The press conference between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler in Dublin, Ireland, was canceled at the eleventh hour, leaving UFC fans worried that the fight might be called off.
In response to this, McGregor took to his social media and sent a message to all UFC fans eagerly awaiting the bout.
“in consultation with the UFC, today’s press conference was cancelled due to a series of obstacles outside of our control. I apologize to my Irish fans and fans around the world for the inconvenience and appreciate all your passion and support. I can’t wait to put on the biggest show in octagon history,” McGregor stated in a message via X.
The highly anticipated showdown between these two high-performance fighters is still expected to take place as originally scheduled on June 29th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
