Video | Max Verstappen Races Red Bull RB20 Against World's Fastest Drone
Incredible speed battle between the three-time Formula 1 champion, Max Verstappen, and the world's fastest drone.
Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen faced a new challenge, and it didn't seem to be straightforward. This time, he wasn't competing against Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, or his teammate Sergio Pérez; instead, he took on the world's fastest drone camera.
The drone Verstappen raced against was part of a test designed to evaluate the new camera intended for use in Formula 1. It's a manually operated drone with a camera, aiming to track and keep up with a Formula 1 car that can reach speeds of up to 300 km/h.
During this speed test at the Silverstone circuit in England, it was confirmed that the drone is incredibly fast. It takes off twice as quickly as Max Verstappen's RB20 or any Formula 1 car, reaching a speed of 300 km/h in 4 seconds and a maximum of 350 km/h.
