(VIDEO) Jake Paul's Reaction to Tyson's Slap: "He Must Die!"
YouTuber Jake Paul mocked after the slap he received from Mike Tyson, stating that the fight is now personal and that "he must die."
On Thursday, YouTuber Jake Paul claimed he barely felt the slap from Mike Tyson during the weigh-in ceremony and mockingly downplayed the legendary boxer’s strength. The two are set to face off in an exhibition match on Friday.
"I didn’t even feel the hit. The guy is angry, and now this is personal. He must die!" Paul said with apparent frustration after the high-profile incident.
At 58, Tyson has demonstrated impressive physical form, which he aims to showcase during Friday's bout in Arlington, Texas.
The slap from Tyson to his opponent, who is 31 years younger, heightened tensions in what is being described as a "circus" matchup. It pits one of boxing's greatest legends—retired nearly 20 years—against an irreverent social media star with a record of 10 wins (seven by knockout) and one loss.
While the fight has drawn criticism, it has also sparked intrigue due to the spectacle of Tyson’s return against a brash, younger opponent who also has experience in mixed martial arts.
During the weigh-in, Paul confidently predicted he would knock out Tyson, to which the boxing icon coolly responded, saying his younger rival is "in trouble."
