Knicks Close to Acquiring Karl-Anthony Towns
The New York Knicks are reportedly close to acquiring Karl-Anthony Towns in a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to a report from 'The Athletic' this Friday.
The Knicks are in advanced discussions to send a player package to Minnesota that includes Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo, as cited by sources.
Towns, 28, averaged 19.1 points and 9.0 rebounds last season with the Wolves.
Throughout his career, the Dominican player was named Rookie of the Year in 2016, has been a four-time All-Star, and won the Three-Point Contest in 2022.
