QPR sees off Luton to continue rise
In-form Queens Park Rangers inflicted a fourth straight defeat on Luton Town, 2-1, to move to 13th on the EFL Championship ladder.
Under-fire Luton manager Rob Edwards will face further scrutiny after his side was undone by Morgan Fox's fortuitous second-half winner at Loftus Road.
QPR forward Michael Frey had earlier scored for the second time in as many games with his close-range opener in the 24th minute, as appeals for handball from the away side were waved away.
Mark McGuinness levelled for the visitor on the stroke of half-time after pouncing on Zack Nelson's corner, though Edwards's side again succumbed to the pressure on the road.
Ilias Chair's long-range strike seemed to be going wide but somehow clipped Fox, whose deflection wrong-footed Thomas Kaminski and rolled past the helpless Luton goalkeeper in the 62nd minute.
A fourth straight defeat leaves Luton 20th in the table, just two points above the relegation zone, while QPR's fifth straight win at home lifted it to 13th.
