Bundu brace helps Plymouth upset Coventry
Frank Lampard's Coventry City remains in sixth position on the EFL Championship table, clinging on to the last play-off position despite a 3-1 upset defeat to bottom side Plymouth Argyle.
The Sky Blues were 2-0 down at Home Park after Mustapha Bundu and Ryan Hardie scored for the hosts in a three-minute salvo on 40 and 43 minutes.
The freneticism continued as Haji Wright pulled one back for Lampard's side on the stroke of half-time, but Bundu completed his brace on 65 minutes to put the game to bed for the Pilgrims.
Plymouth remains bottom of the pile on 43 points while City has 66, three clear of Middlesbrough in seventh after it too suffered a defeat, 2-1 at the hands of 13th-placed Sheffield Wednesday.
