Darmstadt hammers Cologne for first home win
Darmstadt claimed its first home win of the 2. Bundesliga season with an emphatic 5-1 drubbing of FC Koln in a meeting of last season's relegated Bundesliga clubs.
Fraser Hornby opened the scoring early and although Cologne hit back through Tim Lemperle before the break.
But Hornby replied two minutes later and Darmstadt accelerated in the second half to blow the visitors away with further goals from Isac Lidberg, Philipp Forster and Vukotic.
The win was only Darmstadt's second of the season and it sits 12th in the division on nine points. The Billy Goats are only three points better off and sit ninth on the table, both teams having played nine matches.
