Christian Eriksen scored as Denmark drew 1-1 with Slovenia at Euro 2024 on Sunday in an emotional moment for a player who suffered a cardiac arrest at the last tournament three years ago.

Eriksen found the target after 17 minutes when Jonas Wind picked out the 32-year-old to score but Erik Janza levelled for Slovenia in the 77th-minute.

In Denmark's opening game of the last Euros, Eriksen had to be resuscitated with a defibrillator in front of a stunned Copenhagen crowd during a 1-0 loss to Finland.
