Australian tennis star Alex de Minaur fought back from a set down to defeat Jan-Lennard Struff 2-6 6-2 6-2 at the Vienna Open, keeping him in the hunt for eighth place in the year-end ATP rankings.

The 25 year-old had dropped to tenth amid a run of form from ninth-placed Grigor Dimitrov and Casper Ruud in eighth.
The Australian will be hoping for a deep run in Austria, then another strong performance at the Paris Masters, a 1000 event, to push for a place in the top eight.
